The Munich St. Patrick's Day Parade is jointly organised and run by Deutsch-Irischer Freundeskreis Bayern e.V., München Colmcilles GAA Club. , and Munich Irish Rovers. Additionaly numerous other clubs and people contribute in the St. Patrick's Day Committee. In 2008 the"Munich Youth Cricket" joined the Committee.

With the parade the Munich Irish and their Munich friends celebrate the Irish National Holiday and try to bring a bit of the Irish way of life to Munich. This multi-kulti event shall contribute to the cultural variety and tolerant athmosphere of the city of Munich.
